Michigan Chapter

The Mackinac

Our Chapter newsletter, The Mackinac, reaches more than 20,000 members and friends of the Sierra Club in Michigan.

Since November 1998, all issues of The Mackinac have been posted online in PDF format and can be viewed, navigated and printed using the freely available Acrobat Reader software from Adobe Systems, Inc.  You'll find the link to our current issue below.

Annual dues for the Sierra Club are $35, of which $1 is for a subscription to The Mackinac. Non-member subscriptions are available for $10 per year from the Michigan Chapter office.

On occasion, you'll find articles in the newsletter that send you to this website to learn more.  You'll find the links for those articles at right.  Bylined articles represent the research and opinions of the author and not necessarily those of the Sierra Club or the Michigan Chapter.
