Support the Sierra
Club every time you shop at Kroger at no cost to you!
Kroger now requires
that each individual have a free Kroger account and Kroger Plus card for
the Sierra Club to continue to receive a benefit
from purchases.
You can register
an existing Kroger Plus card or, if you don't have a
Kroger Plus card, you can obtain one at any Kroger store. See the instructions
below to
register your card.
The Kroger Plus card is presented to a cashier to credit your purchase
donation
to the Sierra Club. It is not used for payment.
If
you have any of the old Kroger Gift Cards that were registered with the
Sierra Club, just use them
up. Recharging gift cards, old or new, no longer earn a donation for
the Sierra Club.
Registering a new Kroger Plus card
for the first time:
- Obtain a Kroger Plus card at any Kroger store.
- Go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com
- Click on Michigan.
- Click on Enroll near
the bottom pf the page that appears.
- On the next page that
appears click on Sign up today! at lower right.
- Enter
your zip code under Preferred Store and then click Search.
- Click on
the arrow to display the list of stores near you and click on
your preferred
store.
- Enter
your email and password.
- Select
any email communications you would like to receive from Kroger.
- Click Next.
- Enter your
Kroger Plus
Card Number. (If it says that this card has already
been used, please call the number on the back of your card.)
- Enter
your contact information.
- Click Next.
- Verify
that your account information is correct. Check box for agreement to
terms and conditions and click
on Complete Information.
- Kroger
will send an email to your personal account that you entered earlier in
the process.
This
could take up
to 10 minutes.
- Open
the email that Kroger sent. Read the email
and either click on the link
within the email or copy and paste it into
your browser.
- Sign in:
click on the blue Click here button
and then type in your email and password.
- Under Kroger
Community Rewards Section at right, click Edit
Kroger Community Rewards Information.
- Enter 82587 for the
HVG NPO (non-profit organization) number.
- Click
on
the circle to the left
of SIERRA
CLUB- HURON VALLEY GROUP so
that SIERRA
CLUB- HURON VALLEY GROUP becomes
highlighted.
- Click Save
Changes.
- Look
over the page and make sure all information is accurate.
- You are
now registered.
Re-registering
a Kroger Plus card (required annually on or after April 1):
If
you registered anytime before April 1 this year, you must sign up again
to earn funds for the Sierra Club during the
coming year (May 10 - Apr 30 next year). Re-registration must occur
April 1 or later. Even if you registered in
March you must re-register April 1 or later.
- Go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.com
- Enter your e-mail address.
- Put in your password
-(If you forgot the password click Forgot your password?)
- Enter 82587 for the
HVG NPO (non-profit organization) number.
- Click Select
Your Organization
- Click
on the circle to the left of SIERRA
CLUB- HURON VALLEY GROUP so
that SIERRA
CLUB- HURON VALLEY GROUP becomes
highlighted
- Click Save
