for the Earth - ordering
shopping cards online |

Shopping for the Earth now offers shopping cards from many national
merchants like Amazon, iTunes, LL Bean, Land's End and many others
including department stores, restaurants, office supply stores,
hardware stores, movie theaters, airlines, hotels and other
categories.
Some merchants in this program offer 15% or more to the
Sierra Club for use of their cards so you can contribute substantially without
your purchase costing any more than you would ordinarily pay.
You can order shopping cards and pay
for them online! You can also use the cards to shop online!
Here are the steps to get started. If you any questions along
the way please e-mail us.
A. To get started with online ordering of shopping
cards:
- Go to http://shopwithscrip.com
- Create
an account for yourself (see the sign-up box on the left side of the
Shopwithscrip
page). Use DB88E96B2L234
for the enrollment code for Sierra Club-Huron Valley Group (HVG).
- Once the
account is created you should see that you are associated with HVG.
- You
will get an automatic e-mail from Shopwithscrip that will confirm your
account and provide some basic information.
B. Next, set up a list of favorite stores and order shopping cards from stores:
- Go to the Shop
tab - near the top of the Shopwithscrip page.
Notes: under Browse
By Category the Online & Catalog link
will display those cards that can be used for online purchases--
they come with an PIN or certificate number. The
Reload Brands link
displays reloadable cards.
The percentage listed next to each card is the percentage that HVG
receives on your card purchases and reloads.
- To order a card,
click on it's link, then use Add to cart to
order it or Add to favorites to add to your favorites
list (you can view your favorites list by clicking
the Favorites link near the top of the Shopwithscrip page.
- As soon as you
order something a Checkout button will appear near the top of the page--you
can change your order
there if
desired.
- Some cards can
be printed right from the website without waiting for a plastic card. See

To receive notices
about offers that increase the donation to the Sierra Club-Huron Valley
Group go to https://www.glscrip.com/ and
click on Join The GLSC Email Update List on
the left side.
C. Pay for your shopping cards by either of the following two ways (Method
1 or Method 2):

1: Presto Pay (EFT

After watching the videos register for Presto Pay by clicking "My
Accounts" from
within Shopwithscrip-- there
will be a link to register for Presto Pay
near the top
of
the page if you
haven't already
registered.
There is a 39c fee each time you order shopping cards--less than the cost
to mail
a check. You can order as many cards from as many different
merchants as you want in a single transaction.

2: Check made
out to "Sierra Club - Huron Valley Group"
Send to
Ed Steinman, 621 5th St, Ann Arbor, 48103. Your shopping card
order will be processed upon
receipt of your check.
Please
allow 10 business days after receipt of your payment (check or Presto
Pay) to receive your cards although the time may be less.
You
must pay by check for cards from Arbor Farms,
Arbor Brewing, People's Food Co-op, Hiller, Busch's, Produce
Station and Whole Foods. However, since all were
posted on the Shopwithscrip site by the Sierra Club program coordinator,
you
can order
them online via Shopwithscrip instead of using the paper
