Email Forum

An environmental motto for a long time has been "Think Globally, Act Locally."  To help you act locally, the Crossroads Group has set up local environmental email forums, or discussion lists.

With these forums, we will be able to keep you informed of late changes to local events, programs and outings.  Plus, you can be part of the process of helping us all learn about local environmental issues by contributing to the forum yourself.  Whether it is a question about someone filling in a wetland, dead birds and West Nile Virus, a local environment related event that you heard about, or any other environmental story of interest.  The email forums will be a place to share and learn from each other.

To sign up for (or leave) the Crossroads News listserv, click this link, and enter your email address and name.  This list is moderated (all posts must be approved by the Moderator), so it may take a couple days or more for news to get out.  But traffic should be minimal, too.  Included will be reminders of outings and programs.  Past posts can be found here.

To sign up for (or leave) the Crossroads Forum listserv, click this link, and enter your email address and name.  This list is not moderated (any member can post), and all posts go out to all members in a few seconds.  Traffic will be higher, but we will get involved in discussions, find out about fast-changing events, and get last-minute reminders of outings and programs.  Posters who want people to respond outside the forum (like for signups!) should include a phone number or email id.  Past posts can be found here.

This author is signed up for both, as well as many of those below.
